MEET THE BAND
Doug
LEAD VOCALS & RHYTHM GUITAR
Doug has been performing live for over 35 years. He was the former lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Oxford's 'Rockin Lord Lee & The Outlaws' in the mid to late 1980's. During that time, the band had success producing two albums with Rockstar and Rockhouse Labels. Appearances on Sky TV, Plays on BBC Radio 1, Tours of Holland, Belgium and relentless gigging of the UK, saw the band appear on bills with Rock n' Roll legends - Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson, Gene Summers and The Blue Caps.
Dan
LEAD GUITAR & VOCALS
Performing since the age of 3, an upbringing influenced by 1950's RnR has shaped his musical influences hugely. Dan has performed in a number of bands playing all styles of music from originals to covers. Set ups include Blackstar Amps and Gretsch/Fender Telecaster guitars. Influences include: Brian Setzer (Stray Cats), Rick Parfitt (Status Quo), Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran & Elvis Presley.
Dan also occasionally stands in for Lee on Drums after taking up drumming during lockdown!
Jess
DOUBLE BASS
Jess started playing guitar aged 13 in a band with mates, before the band decided someone had to play bass! After deciding it wasn't for him and briefly leaving the band, Jess came around to the idea and hasn't looked back since! He's now been playing for over 40 years in various bands covering all styles of music, even featuring on TV as part of Smith and Roger's country show house band. Up until recently, this was just the electric bass guitar, but Jess took on the challenge of learning the upright/double bass to fully earn the title of 'bass player'. After much encouragement from Doug & Connie Everard, he's now slotted in perfectly to the Zodiacs and is loving it!
Matt
DRUMS
Matt originally performed with Doug in the band 'Rockin Lord Lee & the Outlaws' back in the 1980's when he was just 14 years old. He went on to play with other bands before joining The Zodiacs in October 2022, where he was chucked in at the deep end for his first gig with us after only a few rehearsals. It's safe to say, he fitted in a treat!

GUITAR & BACKING VOCALS
Lee is an experienced drummer having played in a number of Country and RNR bands. He has performed live all over the UK and has completed session work playing on a number of studio albums. Lee is looking forward to gigging with The Zodiacs in 2022 and meeting new people on the RNR circuit.
